HOW THE WORKSPACE FITS TOGETHER

One customer context, several practical workflows.

Field Serve is a company workspace for the teams that win, organise and deliver customer work. It brings the account record, commercial activity and field service process into the same operating context.

Relationship work

Capture new enquiries, keep contact roles clear, qualify opportunities, prepare a quote and record the customer’s decision. When a prospect becomes a client, carry the relevant contact and commercial context into the customer profile instead of restarting from a blank record.

Delivery work

Link a booking or work order to the client, agree the service address and appointment, assign an engineer, then record status and time as work progresses. Keep operational notes in the staff workspace and share only suitable updates with the customer.

Ongoing relationship

Track projects and managed assets such as domains, websites and VPS services alongside conversations and renewal actions. A colleague taking over the account can see ownership and the next commitment.

Team control

Company admins create staff accounts and assign roles. The subscription determines which modules the company has; an individual role determines what that person can access or change inside those modules.

A sensible rollout sequence

  1. Agree what customer and service data the company needs to hold.
  2. Set up role ownership, pipeline stages, product list and job statuses.
  3. Test one lead-to-customer and one dispatch-to-completion workflow using sample records.
  4. Connect only provider accounts the company owns and has authorised.
  5. Train the team and review data quality after the first real work cycle.
Field Serve and Field Serve CRM are separate products.

Field Serve covers CRM and Field Service. The Service Desk remains a separate Field Serve platform; onboarding can plan how both services fit together for a customer.
